UK flights to Lamezia 2011" - Flights to Lamezia from London Gatwick Airport have been secured with Monarch airlines starting April 2011 through until end of October 2011. Should these flights prove popular plans will go ahead to add Manchester to Lamezia flights at a later date to be announced.

The area is well served by good rail links and in addition to regional trains there are regular fast intercity trains from Naples and Rome.
Journey times: Rome to Scalea: 4 hours 40 minutes. Naples to Scalea : 3 hours
